which one is right tranny fit for a 1993 3.4 DOHC ? 4T60e or 4T60-HD? or 4T65? im too confused, i have seen 3.4 DOHC with 4t60e or even 4t65 its based on years of 3.4 DOHC or?? or even have '-HD'??? which one is right one? i need it asap i just blew mine

93 3.4 DOHC is 4T60-E with a 3.43 FDR. Pushrod W body in 93 was a 4T60-E with 3.33 FDR. 97 3.4 DOHC was the only to come with a 4T65-E and thats not all of them either. Only the 3.4 DOHC had the 3.43 FDR so you will want to make sure you keep that for the best drop in.Ben

well, the 3.4 DOHC is DOHC, not pushrod. 3.1 grand prix in 93 had the same trans but 3.33 FDR. Your shift points are based on MPH, not RPM so it would shift at lower RPM than it does now...slightly. Its not a huge deal IMO but a 3.43 would be what I would want to put back in.Ben
