Having Knoking Issues

I have a 93 lumina z34 and its got the weirdest sounding rataling or knoking im not reely sure.im almost positive its not an engine knock but its worrying me. a couple of people have told me to check my torque converter flex plat to see if its loose and or broken. UPDATE!!!

ok i have taken my engine completely apart now, i found it wasnt the trans, but ive traced it to my right cams... thats were i left off. i was wondering wut would a bent or broken valve spring sound like, iv never herd on.
