well i think that he answered the email he has time for, also i did let him know that i would update everyone on here as to the progress. and no i sent him the diff to machine. so my trans for my customer is really in his hands because on the 4t45 trans u have to put the diff in first there is no removable cover, so im more stuck than u are really

we're both stuck in the same spot, an immobile car... lol WELL maybe, because you say your trans for your customer... is his car immobile? or is this a second trans?

Either way I need this car on the ground so I just bought another 3.05 diff on e-bay so I can at least drive this thing some more before bfest on June 19th.... thats my deadline... I need it before then.

yah that was completely not on the topic of this thread. we all know he is busy, everyone has a hard life, it is life, back on topic please. jeff is working on them and id rather him take a descent amount of time to get it done right the first time

people rant because they are frustrated, but they arent cussing him or calling him a crook or anything like that, we know his time is just as stretched as everyone else's these days. people will do what it takes to get by in the mean time i guess

Just got off the phone with Jeff, working on my diff and Patricks trans today, hes gonna make me the newer style plates for my diff and a modified output shaft and send it my way once its done.

He also now knows beretta fest is June 19th and knows he needs to get Patricks trans to him, so hang in there.

4t60 is the same trans as the 4t65 in almost every way, so yes he offers the lsd for the 4t40/5 and the 4t60/5/hd and the 440t4 and prob the 125c as well and includes the manual trans also, gm also offers a torsen diff for the 4t60/5/hd as well and its like $700 IIRC, the only difference is its brand new and doesnt use clutches it uses sets of worm gears

Yeah, what this whole thread is about...

Expect a long delay in getting one. Nothing against Jeff, but as he's stated many times, this is a side project for him, so it's not high on his list of things to do.
