holy snikies, how did that happen, i have absolutely no wear at all on mine, and it was my stock diff with 130k hard earned miles, now fixin to be 200k, but it is a diff trans and prob newer design and diff, i hope we get em soon

Mine is a 4t60e, and yeah I left out the outer diff bushing and thrust bearing, so the bearing behind the park gear exploded from slapping back and forth and then the rollers got into the diff, and yeah thats the end result... Teached me to slow down just a bit...

Anyone else waiting for diff's get any sort of update yet? I was told mine would be done and shipped Thursday yet I have not received an e-mail with the total cost I owe him or even a response to the one I sent on Thursday evening asking if he had any update on it...

Just curious because my car is sitting in the rents garage on jackstands with no diff in it and I'm keeping my parents out of their parking spot.

He hasnt answered an e-mail I sent on Thursday OR one I sent the begining of the week, so if he replies to you I'll be extremely surprised..

And Pat, if you get ahold of him, ask about my diff too it was a 3.33 LSD core swap and rebuild to a new 3.05 diff... Thanks.

Does he make LSDs for the getrag 282 too? Read a lot of forums where he made them for the 4t60-e but nothing about any guys with manual trannies.

yes he does them for a manual, but right about now is not a good time to ask him to do one for you, it appears he is already overwhelmed with Cadillac work and this on the side.

Yeah, was reading that other post where everyone was venting about him and then he vented back. Seems to be a cool guy, but will be a couple years until I go LSD. Just something good to know while im thinking about it.

just got another update of sorts, he says he is trying to make time to get a few of the diffs on "backorder" done and get them out asap, they will be out soon, hopefully most of the guys that have been waiting a while will get theirs soon, including me

Who else that is waiting has a car that is immobile and on jack stands? I'm curious... Or did you all order them as full units and you are shipping back a core.

I would have found a second diff to ship him if I had known I would have been out this long.

Plus if I had done that I wouldn't have wrecked my FD ring and the diff I did find to use temporarly...
