I was looking on car-part.com and noticed that they list the malibu trans seperatly from the alero/grand am trans...? will the malibu trans bolt in to the alero? I am doing a swap and have a near compleate Malibu available to me for a good price.

One probably got the 4T45-E while the other got the 4T40-E. They will both bolt up no problem. There just might be some minor differences in the PCM programming between the 2.-Brad-
