is there a difference between a 90 Z24 auto wiring harness 90 z24 standard harness like will the automatic fit on the standard???

we just did a 3400 and 5spd swap into my brother's 89 cavy, and we just ended up splicing some wires- it will work, but it doesn't just plug in.

Yes there are differences, nothing huge though.
