3.06 4t60e diff wanted

I'm looking for a 3.06 Regular cut diff for a 4t60e, I need the diff and internal sun gear.

The sun gear should have 34 teeth, and the planataries on the diff should have 18 teeth each. I want to get closer to my 2.97 ratio for gas mileage.

you won't really gain much in the way of mileage. i'm assuming your talking about replacing the 3.33 FDR. 3.33 to 3.06 is only a 8.82% drop. if you cruise at ~2000 rpm at 60mph, your only dropping ~135rpm. if you have 240 HP, you will loose ~20 HP. maybe you have 260 TQ-- loose ~21 ft/lbs. intense racing says for each 12% change in FDR, you can change mileage by +/- 5%. 30 hwy = ~ 1.5 mpgs, and in town-- 24mpg ~ 1mpg, however, rpm won't drop much at all with the TCC unlocked due to slippage. another good example...my dad an i have 04 Grand Am's. i have the SE and he the GT. i have the 3.05 FDR and he has the 3.29 FDR. before any mods on either car, we got very similar mileage. and that's a 7.86% difference. also have to take into account the loss in torque. now the engine requires more throttle to achieve the same acceleration as before.

Well its a test, Plus i need to get the 3.33 LSD out of the trans, so its worth it to me to get it closer to a stock ratio... Seriously 19mpg is NOT normal with a stock 3100... Only mods on this motor is a CAI, and 3400 exhaust manifolds a 2 1/2" exhaust... EVERYTHING else is 100% stock, its even a small port motor.

19 is just right for mostly in town. my GA with headers, actual ram air K&N, FFP pulley, 65mm TB and computer tune didn't change my mileage any. i still get 21-23 winter and 24-26 summer mostly in town. my in town is a main street and not like stop-n-go every 500 feet . 31-32 highway (round trip on one tank of gas 70-75mph and 1/3 of that was DAMN hilly. though, i am using Mobil-1 5w20. i gained 2-3 with that viscosity.

i cant manage over 220 miles to a tank and thats not all town driving, I'm on a main road for 90% of my trip at a stable 50-60mph... and its a completely bone stock small port 3100... I noticed a drop in mileage when I went to the 3.33 so I'm more than certain I'll see a gain when I get the 3.06 in there. Like i said before though I still need to get the 3.33 out of there so why not go to 3.06 to see if I get an improvement, its worth the effort... Its free anyways since I got a swap from Jeff at EP, I sent him my 96 3.29 for a 94 3.06
