1997 Chev Malibu, 4T65e I believe... no dipstick to see condition of fliud, don't care, want to change it anyway, anybody know the capacity upon refill. I'm only dropping the pan and replacing the filter. Thanks

There should be a plug somewhere on the side of the transmission you can use to get the level right. Just make sure the car is up evenly on all four sides and remove the plug before you fill it. When you think it's almost full, pour slowly till the fluid comes out the hole. Then put the plug back in.

alright heres a page from pfyc.com on how to install a trans temp gauge just use it for the driections on where the hole is
