  • The capability of the 60 Series 4 Speed

    I think we can now put to rest about the inadequacies of the 4T60 series Transimission and chalk up any failure to the greedy accountants that released the funding for this gear box and everything else GM produced. GM has been running this for few years I beleive...

    That's been out for a long time (3 years at least?). And I know its been discussed before. BUT, its the 4T65E, not the 60E. I figured everyone knew about it. Of course, I thought everyone knew about Ryan Falconer racing engines as well, but you proved me wrong on that as well.

      Yeah I knew that GM racing was horseing around hthe transmission I just didnt know what they did to it. But yeah not alot people know what it can do as many still knock it.

      The reason I say 60 series is because they are pretty much identicle from a rotating assembly point. The basic design is there and relative. I dont see why you couldnt build up a 440T4 like that sans the differential carrier.
