Sappy,
(Hold a Tick Sunbeam!! we'll get to you!!)
I want to start out saying NO-NO-NO, you've got it all wrong!
(Its great being able to say that to a guy with 7,8xx posts who has helped so many others. LOL!)
Memory serves that you are using the 3500 FWD motor with the passengers side starter. With this, you cannot use a stock 93-95 L32 V6 T5 (F-body V6 T5) This gearbox is a "Ford" bolt pattern so it will not work with the 83-92 dual pocket systems.
I think??? you said your going to run an earlier computer, if thats the case, the earlier box is good for you. Also, there are in line VSS that can give the PPM that you need.
Also, Bill and I disagree on the T5 ratios. I think that those ratios for the V6 stated on his website are Early V6- say 1983-1984 and also the ones used on the 2.5L iron duke powered Camaros. Most of the GM 'boxes are 3.76 1st gear and 0.72 5th... But I might be wrong too, its just the ones I have seen and counted. Any V6 T5 will work great but a rear end change is VERY needed if you want to be able to use the power. MGB rear ends can handle it, just dont allow for power to the ground with the limited tire selection and the lack of LSD.
Anyways, there are all kinds of bits and pieces to consider. Have you looked in teh mgexperience v6/v8 forums yet? There is one other site that is helpful, but the v6/v8 forum that I mention is more up to date and more used now.

Ford T5 in a 93-95 camaro?! What is the world coming to. I am using either the 91-93 DOHC computer or the 94-95 DOHC computer. Not sure which yet but both want a 4000 ppm vss.
I am using a complete 3500 FWD 60V6 with a TCE RWD conversion timing chain cover and other pieces. I think it has the external trigger setup but I am not sure at the moment.
I was thinking about using an aftermarket bellhousing with whatever T5 has the best gearing and the GM VSS. Mustang looks to be decent. I want tall gears, cause with 200+ hp I don't need the gear to accelerate this little car. .63 5th would be nice as well.
This is the first RWD setup that I get to really play with. Its all new to me at the moment and I appreciate all of the advice I can getBen

The pulse coder shown in Scotts link will work but will pulse around 8000/mile. Shouldn't be a problem though. I think Dann prefers using the Ford T5 due to it's higher 1st gear but it does require some mods to the bell housing.
The front cover does have an external trigger for use with the newer engines. You can barely see it in the pic below. I would like to find a cheap Midget for use to develop a V6 swap kit. Just have to add it to my list of things to do.
Saw the first completed 3500 MG using our components today. He did a very nice job on his CAI. The owner had a huge smile when he got back with it. He said it was FAST... no comparison to the Moss supercharged engine that came out of it. The real test will start tomorrow as he heads out to Vegas in it. I've got to get a ride in it when he gets back.
Heres a couple of pics of the install.MinusOne - 3100 - 4T60E

Sorry for not communicating this a little better. What I was trying to do was point out that there are other ways to approach this and you won't necessarily have to use a transmission driven GM VSS. You could drive your speedometer with the transmission and use the pulse generator referenced earlier to supply the ECM with a signal. I used an unconventional approach and made an 8 tooth reluctor ring and got a junkyard VSS from an early 90's 4x4 Chevy truck and mounted this to the differential (see pic). I calculated the pulses per mile and adjusted the RSSC with TunerPro. It's surprisingly accurate. You'll spend at least $300-500 for a decent set of gauges...maybe you've accounted for this in your budget but I'd rather spend that on something to help me go faster.
