  • 4t60e vs 4t65e Physical Dimensions

I am planning on mocking up a 4t65e tranny swap for the 99+ N bodies that use the 4t45e. Can anyone tell me for mock up purposes, do the 4t60e and the 4t65e have the same external dimensions?

dont have the dimensions, but the top of them is diff... i would say it is about 2-3" taller on the 65e then the 60e. if you were looking at the trany the area where the harness plugs in is where the height diff is. as for other diffs i dont know. the pans are the same dimension although the 65 uses smaller screws then the 60e

for the most part its the same size however the sidecover area is completly different. i wouldnt try to use a 60e as a mock up, id be doing it with a 65e.
