  • stiffer acumilator springs

    i tryed to do the acumilator shim project this morning and the whole washere thing just really dident work to my likyings so i was wondering if any one has a set of stiffer scumilator springs
    1994 Cutlass Supreme Convertible 3.4 DOHC
    1969 Oldsmobile 442

        the 2 inch washere dident fit into the boors.......i would have had to grind some of the washer material off to make it fit... if im going to to have to do something like that i would just rather do it right and put stiffer springs in it.....pluse when i got down to actually doing it ... i just dident really like the idea of the washers

          you need to get what are called "Machine" washers, I found several direct fits in different thicknesses. You'd still be better off with stiffer springs.
