ok i have a beretta with a 4T60E (trani code is 6wfw). i took the diff out of a 4T60E with the code 6afw. now i couldnt get the sun output gear out, how does it come out. im talking about the big gear that runs all the way around the edge of the trani and is stationary, and the four smaller gears ride in it, i think that is the sun output gear but im not sure if thats what its called.

the gear on the outside is the ring gear. the gears that spin around it are called the planatary gears, and the gear in the center of them is the sun gear.
to get the ring gear out you must disassemble the entire transmission. it is the first peice to go in the case when the transmission is being built
