hey yo! im going to be doing a 5 speed swap into my 93 beretta gt 3.1 that currently has a th125c and i need info. i have the basic how to and im a certified mechanic (not in trans but everything else). i have any and all tools imaginable pretty much cept a lift. what i need to know mostly is what kind of car can and should i get the hm282 tranny from. i was told that some wont work. for instance there is a junkyard that i can get one from a gtz with quad for 200 and that includes all the clutch, half shafts, linkage, and everything else. but the dude there says that i couldnt use it in my car. anyway get back at me guys i want to do this soon as possible.

a quad 4 tranny wont bolt up to a v6, the bellhousing is different. you can swap the bellhousing over, but you woult need another tranny to do it. the clutch pedal, cables, shifter, master cyl, ect can all be used from this car, along with the drivers side axle, however the passenger side axle and steady shaft may be different.
