  • Cooling lines-which is the return?

    Hey all,

Any one know which tranny cooling line on the radiator is the return line to the tranny, the top or the bottom?

I am going to use the lines to drain the torque converter after replacing the filter.

Thanks a lot for any help!

The return line is the straight line that goes into the transmission IIRC... Not the bent verticle entering one. So follow that line to the radiator and that should answer your question.

the line on the bottom of the radiator is the return and the line on the top is the inlet. unless thats what jon said. Heat rises and cold sinks so the hot pumped in the top and the cold leaves the bottom.
