I am in the process of trying to plan out a project cherokee. My situation is this: I have almost decided on the motor, HTLong block3.4ltr crate. I was planing on usinga 700R4 and up grading the t-case from the stock 207 and upgrade to possibly a 241? I have been speaking to www.Novack.com and now I am not sure about which case would present the least problems so I can drive my vehicle this summer. Project vehicle is an 84 cherokee/pioner,4wd,w/air. Is there anyone out there that can help me with this?

I don't know much about s 10s but I'd like to think whatever ran on the 4.3 would be suitable for you to use

the 241 is a stout peice. they are used in quite a few 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks with gas v8's, so strength shouldnt be an issue. they have been used behind a 700r4 so bolting one up wont be a problem. as far as yokes and u-joints, ive got no idea. you would basicly have to play with that yourself, ossibly have custom driveshafts made up.
