I said Eastcoast Fieros earlier but it was actually Westcoast Fieros that I was referring to. V8 Archie makes a kit to install the new 6 spd in a Fiero bolted to the V6 and V8 and since it already bolts to the V6 without an adapter plate and does not require notching the frame it would be a much better option than the Nissan transmission.
I believe it is cheaper as well if you can get through to V8 Archie to get a price. I placed an order for the 6 spd yesterday (not from V8 Archie) along with the one of a kind stock flywheel and clutch assembly, so I'll have to make mounts for it as well as brackets for the shift cables. It is said to have the tulip from one of the axles in it still so hopefully all I'll need is one more axle to connect to the stock axles I have on the car.
