Are all fiero 282s the same?

I am about to rebuild a Getrag 282 to put in my '88 fiero GT.
I have pulled another Getrag 282 from a fiero in the junkyard, but I do not remeber the yaer of the fiero I pulled it from. National drivetrain says they have two different rebuld kits for 282s and they are not sure which one is correct for a fiero. So:
1] Does anyone know what the major difference is between 282 rebuild kits?
2] Are all Getrag 282s used in fieros the same?

All Fiero 282 getrag transmissions are the same. Perhaps one of the kits is meant for non-Fiero 282s, or a later model of 282? I believe there are some minor differences from year to year outside of the Fiero getrags.
