I am installing my new KYB struts and Eibach springs on my 2003 Malibu this weekend, i have a couple questions, the Eibach springs lower my car 1.3 inches at all four corners, is there enough camber adjustment built into the car to handle this or should I wait on installing the parts and order those adjustments kits? I am not going to attempt the alignment my self, going to have Belle Tire do it, but how do you adjust the camber on these cars? where the strut bolts to the knuckle, or at the control arms? just curious. I cant wait to see how this car handles, i just wish winter wasnt coming in a couple of months

if there is not enough adjustment they can install a cam bolt. i just put new struts and both control arms last week myself. the struts are adjustable, however the car has been tweaked where there wasn't enough adjustment. so they put a cam bolt in and it's perfect! you adjust camber where the struts bolts to the knuckle. the strut does not connect to the control arm. you will love how it handles!Andy

Did the same pachage on my Monte and you will love it....I already had the longer cam bolts put in a while ago so they were already there.I did the GMPP handling kit and Energy Poly bushings at the same time. I also had the fortune of using a shops press and lift free of charge which made it even better. If your Malibu has more than 25k on it i would also invest in new front strut caps as well, if you are going to tear it all apart you may as well do it right
GoodLuck and enjoy the "slot car" ride

well i never installed my springs that weekend, they sent me the wrong ones, the ones i needed were on back order or something and i got sick of waiting so i bought some SSC springs (Superior Sport Chassis) from ZZ Performance, they are supposed to be more of a drop then the eibachs, zz performance website says a 1.4 drop, but SSC website says 1.75, so i will have to see how it goes, going to put them on tonight when i get of work, i bought some cam bolts so when i take it to get aligned tomorrow, i have them if they need them, never heard of SSC before, but they look good, and appear to be nice quality, i paid $150 for the set, i will leat ya all know how they are tomorrow. I laready have a front strut bar and 18's with 225/40r18 tires, so should handle pretty good

oh, these have a "limited" life time warranty, and a no-sag gauranttee, i heard some people with eibachs say the back sagged on them

next on my suspension list is a rear strut bar and speedbuilt front and rear sway bars, plan on getting into autocross next year, think this set up will do good?

yeah, just got the car aligned today, and have been crusin around, and slotcar is an understatement corners nice as hell. but on the highway, doing about 85-90 around a bend that had a dip in the pavement i drifted to the left for a second. thank god for fwd, that could of been disasterious, the struts are on their stiffest settings tho. and i dont have any sag from my eibachs yet, but theyve only been on for 2 days.
