  • Rear Discs on Beretta

With the Help of Nocutt from Beretta.net I was able to design a bracket that would fit the 95-96 subframes allowing you to use corvette calipers with 91 beretta rotors and get rear disc brakes.

    My helper...

    Test fitting

    Shortened Ebrake bracket

And NO this is not a photochop!!!

You got more pictures of your cat than the actual bracket, I want to see how well the caliper is attached, That one bracket you have a picture of laying on the ground does not look strong enough to hold a caliper under driving conditions.

Can you take a photo of the caliper and bracket attached to the car.

Thats the ebrake bracket, it needed to be shortened so the cable doesnt hit the shock.

The "Bracket" itself is made from 3/8 steel, trust me it will hold up under extreme driving conditions.

His bracket has different hole distances, different spacers, and a few other things. I have a 94 frame piece sitting at home so I guess I could tweak what I have to possibly fit the 94 and lower people, but I hate to steel WCF market... since I guess they are supposed to provide it.

As far as the Ciera goes, does your rear bearing mount look like mine? Same rear sub frame? If so they yes it should work... may be with different spacers if even that much of a change.

Tire wheel package is a 225/50/16 rim is a 16x7 with 35 offset... I had to roll my rear fenders to fit the 225's after the discs were on, since the disc adds some width to it.

Ah I see. Those wheels look like 15"s!!! I saw Rex's GTZ w/225's and it didn't look like that at all. Must be the differences in tires. Did you notice a slow down when you went to the larger size tire? Rex said he did (more weight) but I'm sure I can find some that weight as light as some 205's...

Is this a regular WCF part or is it still on the burner...?

Hey, I would like to know...

...if I can get some of those rear brackets? I have to redo the back brakes anyways. Why not go with discs? Please let me know. E-mail me at richardeparson@hotmail.com
