sounds perfectly logical to me, i just wonder if the rear struts do the same thing now if i can just find some better shocks out there so i could actually do this. i emailed kyb twice in a week asking when theyre doing to develop the agx shocks/struts and still have not recieved a response from them, i would go with the gb-2's but i want autocross type handling.

Just picked up kybs new agx shocks and struts. been waiting for these things for a while now. theyre supposed to be the best choice for grandams unless u wanna drop 900 on a set of blisten shocks n struts, aalso the agx's are adjustable. Should have them on with the eibachs in a week or two. Does anyone know if this bouncing from the gap is a problem on lowerd grand ams?

        Bouncing Front End w/ Eibacks & KYB's

I've had Eibach springs and KYB-GR2's on my '05 GAGT for about 9 months (and for 2 years on the '02 GASE before it) with no problems - rides a little stiffer than stock, but definitely NO bounce or 'pogo' (as i've heard it called)
From what I've read, the KYB AGX are even better then the GR2's (now that they're available).
I think you'll be pleased with the Eibachs and the KYB's (either)
I would recommed, however, a four-wheel alignment after the struts and springs are on, and if you need them to get the alignment right, use the Ingall's caster alignment bolts ( you can get them from PFYC)
ported 3500 heads, LIM, plenum, 28# TB FI's, TCE 65 mm TB, MPR CAI, F&R strut bars, F&R sway bars, Eibach springs, KYB GR2's, TOG headers, hi-flow cat, Borla muffler and tips, LC-1 WBO2, DHP PT

i have gr2 struts and shocks in my car. they are realy good and fit the budget well. i have ridden in a simular car with konis, and yes the koni's are stiffer, but its almost jaring when they are stiffened up. i find my kyb gr2's are a nice ride and my car handles real well. ive push my car hard through some corners at some speeds im not rather proud of, and i still havent found the limits of my suspention.

i have KYB GR-2's and sprint springs and i like the handling and the stance. i also have not found the limits of my suspension other than the tires breaking loose in hard turns. I plan on getting some eibach springs because they are supposed to be much better and i'm getting some wider tires so hopefully it will stick better.

I hanv't read through all 3 pages....but check out Clubgp for the "pogo mod"

it is for you 2nd gen guys....I don't know all the facts, but when you lower the cars, they bounce for some reason....its an easy fix.
