Well, im about ready to get some new tires.. i was wondering what people on here are running and what seems to hook decent for the $$.. kinda looking at BFG traction TA tires... i want somethin decent on the street and hooks well at the track... im thinkin about goin up to a 235 wide tire
My old goodyear regatta 2 tires really blow at the track..

i run yokohama h4s all seasons on my 17s. they hook not to bad on the street, and are wicked in the rain. mine are 205/40/r17, not a lot of footprint or sidewall flex. im sure a wider/bigger sidewall would hook up very nice. i payed $600 for the set of 4.

if you want something with some teeth, try some kuhmo 712s. i hear they work ausome, but they are only 30k life expectency and are a summer tire only

If you are wanting a good drag radial I suggest the MT ET Drag radials. These are fairly new, and are by far the best drag radial. In fact a lot of drag radial classes are talking about outlawing the use of them.
