  • I Feel So Damn Lucky

This could have happened at 75 on the interstate, It actually happened in the parts store parking lot, with 2 new ball joints laying in the passenger seat. I gotta say a small prayer.

Inner CV joint came apart. Time to rebuild. Struts, tie rods, bearings, and axles. This could have been real bad. I brought my grandkids home in this car last night.

Where I came from, we had safety check. No renewal till your car is safe. Not in Ohio!! Just emissions. You develope a false sense of security.

    It was my fault.

    Don't be like me!

I compromised the safety of all that I love.

Yes, not too happy with myself right now. I am better than that.

          DANA

I'd suggest some DANA Ball Joints from NAPA. Part#NCP2601331
$56ish unless you have AAA, then they are 10% off.
KYB has good struts (advance auto)

Ehhh.... Bald tires, broken ball joints....Tis the season!!! At least your stuff failed in the parking lot...But true I know how you feel. Over here we have saftey inspection statewide, but as far as I know only we also have the inspection dynos exclusivley down here...Maybe some of the other major cities in the state run the dynos too.....Hey sorry man, now I got to get back to my "rat trap"...

Car is fine now. Struts, ball joints, tie rods. Bearings were OK. Ego still dented.
