  • RIM info any1?

also i am looking at a set of rims for my gp gtp. they are curently on a 240sx.

i think ours are lug are 115 and the 240sx is 114.3 so i do not see that as a problem.

what i am manily looking for is the hub center diameter of both cars and if(hopefully not) there is a difference in the hub center??????

lastly, does any1 have the offset info for both cars?

115mm and 114.3mm are NOT the same thing, and can be a problem.

the difference in lug diameter is in the thousandths. i am fairly certain those rims would physically slide over my lugs, what i am mainly concerned with are the hubs.

27.5 thousandths, to be exact. Doesn't sound like much, but each lug will be pushed to the side by ~14 thou when you tighten them down. This is enough to cause problems. I have heard of people breaking studs trying 114.3 wheels on 115mm cars. Good Luck, and don't say I didn't warn you.

a 240 uses a different offset. im not sure, but i beleive its something like a skyline, and they are around 25mm offset.

gonna have to do some more digging. i kept trying to look the specs up but came up with nothing but 4 lug applications. i have seen both the rims and the car and they are assuradely 5 lug. talked to him briefly, he switched to a sylvia(s15) hub assembly so back to square 1.....

now i gotta find specs for this shit.

cmon, any import guys floating around to shed some light on this jdm stuff??
