  • rear hub and front brakes problem

    Hi to all,
I have a buick regal that had always been with bad brakes, so days ago I bought 4 new original delco brake pads (semi-metallic)

The problem is that now the front brakes are too tight and the front wheels get high temperature.
I don't know if the problem is a clogged caliper, brake piston or too wide brake pads.

Also I had a problem with one rear wheel hub assembly, so I bought a new one (expensive one), but the new part has the same problem after only 10 miles! is like a loosen bearing (the whole hub moves up and down with ease).

    Thanks for any suggestions.

RE: rear hub and front brakes problem

umm might be a clog in the lines. i'd rent a power brake bleeder. i think autozone rents them. that should clean it out. as for the back? if you put a new one on, and it threw a bearing that fast i would say either it was defective, or there is something wrong with the car. maybe the alignment or brakes hanging up.
