I've got a 96 grand am SE, looking at kyb for struts and shocks but am unsure about the whole swaybar mounting stuff. How do I know if my car has the swaybar brackets? Is it on the shock itself or part of the suspension?

RE: Struts/shocks question
Part of the suspension. It will have brackets that hold it to the frame and then endlinks with connect between the control arms and the sway bar.-Brad-

if your car is like my j-body, the sway bar end links attach to the lower control arm (the only one i have) totaly seperate from the strut, up front anyways. in the back i think my sway bar is totaly usless since it spans the rear axel and i dont thinks its doing anything, but still, not associated with the shocks back there either. If you aren't friends with a liar, you aren't friends with anyone.
