The guy at the tire shop will give me a really good price on them so I'm considering it. He will sell me these American Racing Pallmeto Chrome Wheels and 245 45YR 18's for $2250.00CDN. Let me know what you guys think, about the tires, my pick of rims and price.

I still have the stock rims but I use Hankook tires and they have held up just fine, and they have good traction. I dont really know how they hold up in bad weather seeing as how I live in Arizona. It rains like 4 times a year, and whats this snow stuff people are always talking about. Hope that helps.

Yeah, I don't have a doubt about their standard tire's. My uncle has been selling them for years, and thinks they are great. But it's the preformance tires I'm concerned about. They have only been out for a few years.

For the money they're a great tire...for the money of course. They wear a bit faster than Kumho Ecsta Supras and provide about the same amount of grip. I've dealt w/ Hankooks for the last 2 years working at Western Tire Here in Tucson. In fact thats probably where WhiteZ34 got his tires. Hankook entered into a "Stratigic Partnership" w/ Michelin about a year or so ago. Something I don't think Michelin would have done if Hankook wasn't making some of the most reliable tires out there. If I where to put them on scale w/ the Michelin line they would probably fit between Riken and BFG.
They are a great tire if your on a tight budget...

my tires are KDW's. That is Dry, Wet and snow traction......i wanted teh KDW 2's but they weren't available at the time.....

I am very happy with them. They grip very well......i don't know how they do on wet pavement, cause my car doesn't get driven in the rain.....at least not in the last year and a half.....i've had the tires for 11 months....and 5k miles......mostly highway.

I paid $99 a piece for the tires. They were ~$165 a piece and they come stock on the new GTO.

          The tires I have

          the ones i wanted

The new Z06 exposes European sports cars for what they really are....overprice, underperforming snobs.
