Anyone relocate battery to trunk?

    I put the battery in the hatch of the Mustang... I used some 0 ga. welding cable from the battery terminal to the solonoid. I guess you could use a junction box (used for huge sound systems) to tie the stock cable under the hood with the new long battery cable. Again the welding cable 0 or 1ga. in size is more than enough it also resists heat and oil and is also somewhat cheap to buy. I also used a Marine battery box to hold the battery, but using some metal straps instead of the nylon crap it came with. The plastic box isn't NHRA approved but you could find some nice sealed boxes from summitracing or something.
    1991 Corsica 3.1L, 3 speed 100% stock.
    1989 Mustang 5.0, 5 speed not so 100% stock.
    I am Canadian eh? Quebec Canadian too...
