ABS....Slow?

Ok......on my 2000 i am used to the abs pumping like 15+ times a second...
on the 94 it does about 1-2 pumps a second..i mean there is enought time for the wheel to lock up slide then unlock......what could this be? Or is it normal on older modles

-2000 GTP - 332/426
-94 GTP - Stock, But needs new:
Door, Steeringwheel, fender, windshield and window for new door, and power steering line.
