  • N-body and W-body rear tubular suspension arms.

Figured i would show off the latest set of rear suspension arms that fit our cars. This particular set is going to unchained_01. All arms are fully adjustable, made competely from 4130 Chromoly. I have to weigh them, but they feel possibly lighter than the Gen 2 Wbody arms. These adjust down to fit Gen 1 Wbodies, but I like to make those a bit shorter so the adjusters have a reasonable amount of adjustment.

I usually paint these with caliper paint, but Albert wanted them bare, I imagine he is gonna powdercoat them. I dont have a powdercoater in my area, so thats why i use caliper paint. Its pretty durable.

Pretty much, except these are lighter and stronger Chromoly steel.

I just happened to see these posted on the W-Body forum and really liked what I saw . Bob is great to deal with and has updated me on every step of the process. And yes these will be powdercoated.

I will probably be interested in buying a set of these from you this fall for a winter project. Can you give the ID and Length for the required bushing? I'm researching the use of spherical bearings for this application. Due to the different lengths, I'll probably have to use High Misalignment bearings on the outer ends and regular bearings on the inner. This will be for an n-body.

EDIT: I just found your info on w-body.com. I saw that your pricing included poly bushings. I think I'll just stick with poly. Much cheaper and simpler route.
