when ever i go over a bump the left front wheel (driver) i hear a clumk. it is pretty loud. i have replaced the ball joint and the tie rod ends a while back and the front strut. could it be a blown strut. it almost sounds like it is loose. i was changing my ps pump last night and had to turn the wheel alot could that have done it.

Also that funny round "nut" with the hole in it that holds the strut down in the knuckle. That came loose on the 92 due to the previous owner. Man, I keep finding all sorts of stuff he did wrong on it, maybe that's why he sold it.

Raise the car from the JACK point and let the strut relax. Use another jack and raise the wheel from the ball joint. Watch the top of the strut. Also watch where the ball joint mounts. Not a lot of options here.
