I was wondering if I look for 89 Beretta parts for Suspension upgrades can I put those part on my 89 Corsica with no issues or are the suspensions 2 different I know they are both L-body (at least from what I have read so far on the Forums been doing a lot of that the past few days) So can I put Suspension Components from a Beretta in a Corsica is my basic Q?

Thanks for that info. Trying to help the body roll in this thing. Going with KYB Adjustables and possibly lowering springs. Check Summit and they have nothing for the Corsica and tons for the Beretta. Currently have the Original Shocks installed in '89, and they are blown outfeels like the car is gonna flip if I corner to hard

i think certin beretta's had larger sway bars as well. (GTZ or Z26 IIRC). have used Suspension techniques, eibach and Tein springs on suff.. the Eibach and Tein are great springs.. KYB and Bilstein are good struts.Shane "RedZMonte"

Corsica Beretta parts interchange.
Depending on the options RPOs some had beefier suspension from stock.
Finding a GTZ you will probably be finding a thicker Swapbar etc.As of April 2

'88 Berettas that had the Z51 suspension got solid, external rear sway bars. Best stock add-on, there's a dude on eBay by "Styluss" that has them every now and again.
You can get a slightly larger rear bar from Addco, they're running about $150-$200 now. Just make sure you get the one for '94 and prior.
GTZ's have larger, internal rear bars. On '90-'91 cars the front bar bolted to the subframe, but on '92-'93 they bolted directly to the strut, so it's a pain getting replacement struts.Alan

welding up control arms and making sure everything is solid, it is possible to pull one side of the subframe off at a time with a jack and jack stands, i've seend subframes rot out alot on corsicas and berettas, they are both the same, except a quad 4 will have 4 extra holes in the front of the subframes, but its Not an issue. replacing the control arm bushings will help alot too, you can get some from energy suspension, if your car feels like its going to tip its probably becuase a sway bar link, mount, or the bar is self is broken and rusted out. i believe rear swing arm bushing are avalible too. and if you cant find a rear sway bar i can see just welding a long plate on the bottom of the rear swing arm will have the same effect.the triangulated part of the rear swing arm is where the flex is. when you look under your car you'll see what i'm talking about.
Your rear bumpstop is probably bouncing around because the rear spring perches are rotted out, i dont know if there still avalible from GM, if they are, let me know, i need a set

Then thats awesome news! i was thinking of welding up metal to the open triangular part of the rear sway arm at some point in time myself, i figured a good idea was to use another rear sway bar and cut a chunk out, as it would have the large holes punched out to reduce weight. if you got any questions about berettas/corsicas, i've come to know Alot about them.
