suspesion techniques lowering springs

ok so i bought the 95 monte carlo struts and 11 inch brakes
and i also bought just the front lowering springs, my questin is there any trick to getting them to sit rite
the coils end at different palces , has any one else tried to use these?

Yes, the coils end in different places... it makes no difference though. The rubber isolator on the bottom of the spring can be swivelled. Just make sure the top is lined up and then adjust the bottom accordingly.

ah today at work me and another worked it out, i was worried about the top bolts not being rite and the lower mount rubbing the brake line be hind it, but it seems ok now.

how much did yours lower the car? ne performance outta them?

They lower the car about 1.25". Yes, it handles better.

i told u about that already george. lol did u make sure the hole on the top plate lined up with the hole on the bottom plate?

no hole son the bottom of the 95's josh, and two holes on the tops, not identical to each other...lol

Just make sure that the "flanges" that stick off the bottom perch are parallel to the hub. Otherwise, they will rub when you put them back into the car.

they need ot be perfectly alligned out wareds or torwards the front of the car?

if there is no hole in the bottom strut bearing it is a aftermarket bearing. so there george harharhar
