Compatible 2000 Monte LS parts?

Hey guys, wondering if anyone could tell me what other cars would have a compatible K frame for the 2000 Monte LS... i don't really feel like paying 1500$ for a new one

I think that any 1 & 1.5 generation K frame will work....

The early monte carlo's are 1.5 generation

A 2000 Monte Carlo is a Gen2. While the Gen1 subframe will bolt up the same, the lower control arms, steering knuckles, ball joints, struts and brakes are all different.

It should be the same as any other W body subframe, so a Regal, Century, Impala, Grand Prix, or Intrigue should all be compatible. From my measurements the Chevy Venture also bolts up the same and has the same parts for the suspension according to the parts cross reference on rockauto.com There are listings for newer vehicles to get parts from as well. You can look up individual parts there and click on the part number to see what other vehicles the part fits. I'm not sure if the transmission mount is different between the 4T60 and 4T65 so you may want to confirm that and make sure you get one that matches your application.

car-part.com will bring up a listing of vehicles in your area that would have the same piece that you need. Even if they don't have a good price or one that is close to you, it is still a fast and easy way to cross reference with other compatible vehicles.
