  • Subframe bushing stuck

    Im trying to replace a single lower subframe bushing behind the front passenger tire... I have the bolt out and the metal spacer and it wont drop down! Ive trying prying it with a screwdriver and prybar but its ON there... what am i doing wrong? I NEED to get this bushing off for my other car. thanks

      did you only loosen that one bolt? maybe that's why.

        You need to drop the subframe down, by removing the other rear bolt and loosening the front 2. They are pressed in best I recall. You will have to beat them out. I put all new bushings and sleeves on my 91 and I had the benefit of the subframe being out of the car.
