  • Wheel weight

Does anyone know the weight of stock 5 spoke mags on a 93 dohc cutlass.
Im buying new rims for my car and wondering what the weight gain would be if I went to 18's. Any opinions on what wheels to buy 17's or 18's. Thanks

          50lbs +/- for my 16x7" Z26 wheels and 205 tires.

I now have 225 but these kumho's dont weigh that much. Maybe less than the touring 205 tires I had.

Is it worth spending extra money to buy lightweight rims. Lightweight 18's are pretty expensive.

Then dont buy 18's You have to compromise somewhere. Do you want to go fast or look good? Forged 17's would be the best compromise between weight and looks IMO.

I called the dealer today and he quoted me 25 lbs for the 16x6.5 cutlass 5 spoke mags.

Hey just for some clarification. I know 5x115 is the propper bolt pattern but ive heard that 5x114.3 works. Am I alright running 5x114.3 or should i just stick with 115. Thanks

Im not sure about your car, but on the grand ams you can use 5x115 or 5x114.3 if you have hubcentric rings

                        yup.

there are a ton of wheels for mustangs in low-offsets (5x114.3). look at 4th gen's.
