  • ABS sets multiple codes

I have a 1994 beretta that set the ABS light. I brought it to a local
guy with the ability to read obd 1.5 and he said the left front wheel
sensor was bad. I replaced it after disconnecting the battery and then
put everything together. I brought it back to the local guy and he tried
clearing the ABS light but it now says that left side motor isn't working.

    1) Is there an inexpensive code reader that will do OBD 1.5 and clear
    lights?

    2) did I do anything wrong that may have put the ABS in a bad state and
can be solved with some sequence of events?

3)is there a cheap fix to replace motor in ABS gm VI systems. and a reader
that can actuate what needs to be done for bleeding etc?

    thanx erick

There are 1.5 code readers that can be bought at parts stores. Then all you need is a service manual to tell you the codes.

Thanx for the response...most part stores advertise the OBDII readers. I haven't
sen any that advertise backward compatibility. Will the readers also work
and actuate the ABS for bleeding or exercising (EXORCISING) the gremlins?
