since im doing my suspension some time this week i figured i might as well change out my strut mounts since they might be the originals with 130+k miles on them , they might be a bit worn and tired out.. but i need to know whats the difference between standard and h/d suspension. i tried to compare them at work(autozone) but couldnt really we only had the standard ones in stock... any big difference in the mounts or how do i find out what type do i have

Depending on the price, I'd go to a dealer, with the VIN. I know mine are about $60 a piece. Mine are bad for sure. Instead of the shaft hole being round...mine are oval.\"NASCAR is an integral part of my life. A part of me died when Dale Earnhardt died.\"

The standard mounts are for FE1 suspension equipped cars, the "hd" ones are intended for FE3 equipped cars. Look on the spare tire cover in your trunk at the SPID label there and check to see which of those three codes you have and order accordingly...unless you just want to throw in the HD mounts anyways. They should be a bit stiffer compared to the non-hd mounts.
