  • 2005 Meet In Indiana or (What I did on my summer vacation)

I'll start the thread and let Josh add his pics and vids later. Wasn't the biggest event I have ever attended, but, maybe one of the most fun. We had a special guest.... Thanx for coming Marc! You were the highlight!! The grin on Jon's face shows agreement.

Hope all made it back safe. I did.

Nice. Can't wait to see the pics! Josh, get ahold of me and I'll let you add everything to the gallery (like we did last year).

Sounds good. I got mostly vids, RednBlack and Ridgerunner and pocket-rocket took most of the pics. But you guys get those to me too for the final compilation video.

Marc, that trike is awesome, thanx for letting me take her for a spin, and for the totally awesome oil cap! Yeah, I was hoping for a better turnout, but it was good to have the diea hards all together again too. Well, most of them...(Hi Brad! )

pocket-rocket: Since you don't believe in phones anymore, here's that key I promised you. FC8GV-8Y7G7-XKD7P-Y47XF-P829W

Ben: Chip works good, although the fans may be running on the highway as well as the city, I have no way of knowing short of stopping quick on the freeway and popping the hood.

Ridgerunner: Know you won't be home till monday but hope you made it OK. That sunbird is awesome, and it was fun hanging out.

RednBlack: Love that two color Cutty! Keep on keepin on with the go go parts!

I hope the only video of my car isn't included...what a joke. Short shift 1-2 trying to do a powershift at 5500 RPM. DOH! haha, had a great time though, and got some ideas out for mods Studebker museum was well worth finding it, you gotta upload the pics of the sceptre for everyone to see.

Wish some more people would have shown up but hell, that is what a 60V6 is...wishing there was more. Weather was awesome for a change, and with a small group we got to decide on the spot what we wanted to do. No one else wanted to go to amish acres with me:P I think we will throw another meet here this year for the people in this area. Perhaps we can get more small groups together and share pics and vids and such.

I had a blast, see everyone next year :P

Edit: Found out the 92 now has a cat coming apart on the inside... it's starting to rattle, and that explains why my donut is starting to leak more. Now I don't feel so bad for the times it ran, and now have to replace exhaust parts sooner then I had planned....

Hey, three cheers for the site being back up!

            Here's some preliminary vids:

Drag footage will be up shortly, wasn't much there. Boy, we should have designated a cameraman. We didn't even get Ben's cars' best run. (Don't worry, your secret is safe with me )

EDIT: I still need pics from everyone for the final video. I want to still make it this week before I go to GPG.

Just got home. The sunbird did fine all the way up there and back. Railfanned like mad yesterday, spent almost all day today coming back from NW Ohio.

Will post pics in a day or so once I get some rest.

I really need to get to a meet one of these days. This year was out because I changed jobs and had too many weddings to attend. Next year is out because my parents are forcing my wife and I to go on a cruise with them. Perhaps in '07. My boy might even be old enough to come with me then!

Here is another post for old times sake :P Plans are new high flow cat, larger cat back mandrel pipe into a couple of borla mufflers.... also contemplating an electric cut out pre cat Knowing the way things go, I will probably have the same exact exhaust on the car next year At least I can hollow it out as a last resort. Now I don't feel so bad about the car slowing down since I've had it because it has good reason. I wouldn't want to run around the block hard if I couldn't exhale either.

BTW, I made it home safe too

PS, thanks for that key Josh

Here's what of my pics I've resized to put online, most are of the Studebaker museum. Tried to get all artsy-fartsy with those. I think it worked with the Rockne and Avanti pics.

No one has sent me any picstures yet. Cmon boys! All I have are shots of the trike, and it's gonna be a really lame final video without those pics.
