THAT!! Is a good idea!. I brought it up at the meet in Mishawaka, but not much interest. I would like to see all the Buckeyes in one place, and since I live here, might as well do Dayton area. We have the track at Kilkare for T&T, it is on Thursdays however. And there is a buttload of stuff to do around here. Air Force Museum alone will fill up a full day.
Camping is done almost anywhere. John Bryan State Park? How bout it Ohioans? Early September sound good? PM me and I might start planning something. (And you don't have to live in Ohio to go)If you are driving a Chevy, everything else, is just a blur. 3.4 Carbon Footprint.

Everyone always wants a meet in their own state. Yet, (except for this year) the majority of the people going to the meets drive over 500 miles to get to a meet. I think the least amount I've driven for a meet was ~850 miles. The only reason I didn't go this time was because I started a new job in January and don't have the vacation time built up yet, and I just bought a house 2 months ago.
Sorry, just ranting. It just annoys me with some people on this site and not wanting to drive their cars to meet other members. There was a couple people a couple years ago who lived like 3 hours away from the meet but didn't feel like driving that far, yet the majority of the people who were there drove 10+ hrs.
There was always the 03 meet in Canada.... 1300+ miles one way IIRC. And oddly, that was probably our best showing in the 5 years we've been doing this.-Brad-

I totally understand. But I know there are a lot of 60d greasers around here. And just for a state meet, this is a perfect place. A lot of peeps could even sleep at home.
If someone knows a better place in Ohio, that's cool too. I'm flexible and driveable.

I know for sure unless rain that there are test and tunes scheduled at national trails for the 30th of october and the 6&13th of november. all other test and tunes are on there website www.nationaltrailraceway.com and they usually just put them up for that month because they dont know if they can get enough people there to run the place. im up for whenever as long as its on a weekend.92 Lumina euro 3.4 DOHC 139,XXX miles

there are quite a few small tracks in ohio but to my knowladge national trails is the largest or darn close. i was just there for the dunlop neofest and got tons of pics and vids. sure not to dissappoint if it ends up that the meet is there, plus its almost in the center of the state making it at most an hour and a half for anyone in the state.92 Lumina euro 3.4 DOHC 139,XXX miles
