ben you guys went to quaker city which i have never been to, but i heard bad things.

dragway 42 is NICE. norwalk is 35 minutes away and is the home track of the IHRA. but 42 is just as nice to run at and less crowded on test nights.

i offer my place for a few reasons:

    1- right off of 71, 77, 76, 80

2- huge open area for parking, showing off, plenty of shade

3- easy access to dragway 42 or norwalk

4- anyone wants to camp, its free so long as no minors are drinking, thats where i draw the line.

5- i have a bathroom on the house, with an outside access door - no bugging anyone inside to take a leak

6- wanna camp in the woods? go for it i have 13 acres of woods and 3 acres of grass.

7- huge cruise night is 5 minutes up the street in brunswick, regularly 500+ cars every saturday night.

    take it into consideration.

ok now. who all would be interested and what is a good date? mid september on a saturday and sunday? friday night, saturday, and sunday? dragway 42 has test/tune and grudge racing friday nights. does anyone intend to race? i don't but i might be able to get my uncle to bring the trans-am out- i'd have to tow it for him.

september 9-10-11? weekend after labor day?

saturday nights the car cruise is rather large. i doubt we will have too many people for a meet, but i think it would be cool to hit that as who knows what shows up. a couple weeks ago a full on road race prepped 65 mustang showed up, and a real #88 UPS nascar taurus modified with little LED lights cut into the stickers of lights, and it had a passenger seat stuck in it.

in 2 years i would like to have the big meet here(heh, i said big meet) if things work out for me as i'll have a rather large shop with a lift and we could put people's cars up and make fun of their rusty undercarriages.

this will not happen if nobody provides insight. its getting too late to start planning anything. i'm not gonna make a date and have ben drive from indiana to just meet up with me and james.

Hopefully this takes off and gets some planning soon. I have to move and the date will say when. Cause I wanna go!

Damn, I'd be down like a clown but I'm in FL. right now. National trails is like 5 minutes from where my place up there is. Oh well.
Tuning a car is full of compromises. You must decide if you are willing to give up either reliability, performance, or a whole load of cash. Also remember that repairs will seem to come up much more often as you strive for even more performance
