I've never been. if i get off my lazy ass and put my car together, i'll try to make it. round-about when are the details gonna be posted, its hard to get time off of work, there is hardly anyone to cover me.

So what's the deal with this meet? Has anyone figured out a timeframe yet? If it's the same weekend as Berettafest, then I'm already tied to that.
I'd like to meet up with some of these cars I've seen develop over the last few years... I'd bet nobody really knows who I am except some of the Beretta junkies...

AFAIK, we haven't really talked about dates anymore. WHen is BFest this year? Maybe we can plan it around that.

Yeah, I got real busy with graduation and job hunting, so things got kinda crazy.
The cars are doing well... the STE has a brand new suspension (EVERYTHING suspension related), brakes, steering... it went through a LOT of work before winter hit.
The Z26 is in my garage right now, awaiting the 3400 I have for it, as well as a transmission rebuild with an EP LSD. It was driving great before I tucked it away... I used it everyday pretty much from July up until Thanksgiving to get me around.
BFest is during the weekend of June 25th-26th. That'd be great if the 60* meet was not that weekend!
I figured it was time to rear my ugly mug on this board again with the 3400 going in... I'm sure I'll have questions (some of which I've already found the answers to)!
Glad to know that some people still remember me too!
How are your projects coming? I heard something of you gettin' hitched!

Hmmm...how'd I miss this post? Anyways, I am definately up for something like this. Just have to know the details of when and where, and assuming I'm not trying to put yet another tranny in the STE (will be on number three when it gets put back together), I'll be there.

Place is set unless someone else seriously has the time and interest. I will have time in a few weeks to start setting this up for south bend, indiana. Time frame, I am thinking july-august, like last year.
I remember you too, despite your incredibly large post count:P I still creep around bnet now and then. Been wanting to get a hold of doug sometime too if you have his email addy.Ben

I really want to go this year, but my car needs an ass load of work done to it, and i dont know if i can afford new 245/50z/r16 tires, right now i have 225/50/r16's on the rims but they just spin like crazy, i still have to cut a hole in the roof and install the sun roof, finish doing my seats, and modifying the front and rear end of the car, then paint it, put in my new motor, all new brakes, suspension, exhaust, i have to make headers, damn i hope im done by the time the meet comes around. ugh ok, im gonna go work on it now.

I would definately be game .. but with hearing about past meets, and only a handful or so of people showing .. kinda hard telling myself to drive 12hrs .. I mean, I aint got no beef with any of you, its hard justifying it. Seems each time, theres a going to be a big turnout, and the same handful of people just show ..

im the one that is planning the MyMonte meet and was wondering if you would be interested in joining in with us this year?
we are having our meet in Chicago and renting out US41 race track in Morocco, IN (i did this last year as well).
we dont have to have the same schedule or anything, but since your planning late july or august (which is the same timeframe as our big meet) you might be up for something????
even if its just for the track day thats cool, i paid for the track all day last year, 8 hours of all you can do track passes. hell, one guy got in like 45 passes.
if your interested just shoot me a line or something, if your not, cool, just figured i would offer.

Right now, i don't have time to start planning the meet. I wanted to start this month but I have just not about finished moving into the new garage and making plans for testing parts. Ill need the details on your meet, but we can probably set something up for at least the track. It would possibly be better to just do the entire chicago thing so we don't have a 1.5 hour drive to chicago for racing, then the drive back. I want to know what everyone else thinks.Ben
