I just got the cutlass out of the garage and am cleaning up the rest of the garage for winter. We are just south enough of lake michigan to not get hit too hard but it still snows quite a bit in the winter.

My car is gonna be so fast this year for the armchair racing. w00t!

              which one?

              the Legacy or the bird?

the bird. it doesnt handle at all... due to even back when the car was running high 14's it was undrivable in the winter... i havnt Winter Driven it for 3 years now. its just too stupid to drive.. its even a bitch to drive in the rain mainly due to the Dry traction only tyres i have on there.

The Subaru, it is Awesome. it makes winter driving fun!!

Remembering the good ole days in Colorado. The Z34 did surprisingly well. It actually had accelerating traction, mainly becuz of the lack of low end is my guess. Mix that with a front mount engine on your turning wheels, and you have a recipe for a good bad weather handler. Now of course you couldn't put your foot in it, but that's a given. But if you did get on the throttle too much, it was nice to just feel the tires slip, and have the car slightly track off to the right, but me knowing as soon as I let off the gas, it'd hook right back up.

For comparison, the Z28 doesn't do snow. At all. Any gear, if you just touch the pedal, you are fishtailing. I couldn't get it above 20mph. It would just start fishtailing. That car plain out sucks in rain or snow.
