It holds 13 gallons, so its not as bad as I thought. Still sucks:P No room for a big tent or much else in it either.

I tried talking Ben into taking the G6 to the meet. I wouldn't want him to take it down the strip though. That thing is too nice and doesn't even have 4k miles on it. He said the gas mileage sucks though.

You could always rent something. I know lots of guys who have rented cars and taken them to the strip.

If there's room, I'd not mind taking up one spot in one of the RVs or someone's tent if that comes out cheaper. That'll just be Thursday night and Friday night.

Yes, I still have my huge freaking tent that cost me $200 and was short the 2 main support poles before I ever pulled it out of the bag... I also have plenty of firewood (if we wanted to save some cash) and I think I have a small spade shovel as well. Some mice decided to test the integrity of the walls of the tent with their teeth while it was in storage and I haven't really checked it out since we moved in our house. Ben suggested I set it up to air it out, at which point I can find the holes and patch them with some awesome vinyl tape I have that will tape plastic sheeting shut in the middle of a rain storm. So yes, I am still upright and sucking wind :P

There may be trees by the RVs, I can't imagine why there wouldn't be since there are normal campsite next to them. I would also imagine that the RVs have retractable awnings. If you don't want to wake up in an oven, you should try sleeping in a tent. Or, you could just stay in the RV!
