Has to be between the last week in July to the 2nd week in August for me to show. Kids start school in August, we picked 3rd week in July as last of 6 weeks on our list for our daughter to get into soccer camp, so maybe earlier.

you should put your kids in Treca. Its all online school and they work at their own pace, NTM you can put them on a wi-fi and they can do school while you travel the country. My 13 year old started with them 2 years ago in the 4th grade....she's a sophmore currently, and should be fininshing school before x-mas '09. My 11 year olds is only a grade behind her and plans on finishing the same time. My 8 year old complains that I haven't let her do treca yet.
sigpicHow to make High performance Emissions:
A "true" High flow converter, straight pipe.
Low/No flow EGR valve, block off plate.
Carbon canister and purge valve mod, place in large 30 Gallon can, cover, and place curbside, the city will do the rest.
PCV valve and vent tube, reroute to exhaust to dump where it belongs, on the ground. Or add breathers and let it all free.

        Anre't you an admin?
Yeah. I figured it out. OK, I have two dates in mind. August 14-16, and September 4-7 a.k.a Labor Day Weekend. I want to figure this out today so dates can be set and people can make plans. The two widlcards ATM are ForcedFirebird and 95SleeperAchieva with children and racing commitments, so I especially want to hear from you two. But any reasons for or against either date, I want to hear.

I also made a 2nd post on the sticky thread with names of people interested in coming. If you are coming and don't see your name on the sticky, PM me so I can add it.
I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

Both of those dates will eliminate me. August 14-16 is BerettaFest NorthEast and Labour Day weekend is a full race schedule here and very near the end of the Points.

The august weekend has only 1 point meet on that saturday. Depending on how I'm doing in the series will depend on whether or not I'm willing to miss it.

The september weekend is a big money weekend of potential winnings, sept weekend very bad.

Well, I have a baby, pre-k, 1st grade and 6th grade. The oldest had been sitting in classes above her grade level until this year (5th grade is the 1st year of gifted here, she has over 135 IQ), and we are #25 on the waiting list for the Charter School they tell us usually 30 get in

I bet she would love something like that, but she's the kind that will procrastinate if left totally on her own learning schedule and goes off on tangents even when she's using Google to research

SO, Sept. is a no-go for me as well.

Ok, those weekends are now bad for a quarter of those interested, so a rethink is needed. What about other weekends in August? The third weekend still works for me. My wildcard is Pontiac Nationals. they don't particularly like FWDs, but the last two years I've raced there I've covered my expenses. However, if more people could make the first August weekend I'd schedule it then since the idea is to get the most people available.

OK I certainly have no decision to be made here but I would attend if I could.

These dates work for me without looking at the Corvette Plant schedule or the dragstrip, after July.

Sept 18-20. And back tracking August 21-23.

However my race schedule is so busy that I may not be a fair barometer of who may be available.

I guess I'm SOL this year but hopefully the planning can start earlier next year.

Well, enough is enough and I'm pulling the trigger. After reexamining the drag racing schedule and other things, the only weekend that seems to work where we'll get the most runs is August 20-23. So that is when the meet will be. I hope it works out for everyone. If not, I hope you find a way to make it work because I think this is gonna be a lot of fun. I'm going to start planning other activities next week. I may ask for input about other things to do so keep checking back.

                            Doubt you'll see me then...

No way I can have the kids starting school on Monday...

The Broward County School Board has approved the 2009-2010 school calendar. Classes for the new school year will start Aug. 24 and conclude June 9, 2010.
Figures, the one week I couldn't do in Aug.

Yeah, not much point in the family aspect of the location when no families can make it unless they are home schooled. Pwnage.

I guess I never thought of a 60V6 meet as something you bring your family to anyway. More than the family friendliness of Beech Bend though, I like its proximity to the dragstrip and all the other attractions in town.
