Yup. That sounds like Sony. I bought an external dual-layer DVD burner from them and it would only work with Nero as a driver...

I took it apart and installed the drive itself in my PC tower, works like a charm now lol.

Okay, here's the problem. Sony, in their infinnite wisdom, gives you a program that lets you convert the camera footage into something you can edit. However, it only lets you downconvert to crappy MPEG and you lose all the HD. The truck pass is in SD. I've spent most of my time trying to find a program that would allow me to edit the footage in HD, and then when I'm done with it, burn it and keep the HD formatting or save the files in HD. I finally "obtained" a program last night that will let me do this. So be patient with me a little longer, I'll be editing like mad this morning.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I need everyone's pictures too. The more stuff I have to work with the better.

I don't care about the editing, I want the vids!!!!one11111!!!

My car is still broken, yet driving around perfectly fine haha. at about 10mph in 1st and if getting hard on 2nd, the car feels like I am on the rumble strips to the side of the highway (the kind to keep you awake)

I had steady shot turned on too :/ I ended up just resting my elbow on the fence right there to help steady it too. Then again, as he went down the track I had run the zoom as far as it would go, and that doesn't help unsteady hands.

Did you see how long it took him to spool the turbo? There's no way it was in 2wd either... That thing flat out ripped. It almost sounded like a jet as he took off.

Working on it. The program that comes with the camcorder only allows me to crop the videos. If I convert them so I can work with them in Windows Movie Maker, they lose their HD, which sucks. I really need Adobe Premier, but don't have a few hundred to drop on it.
