that and i want to see that Z24 in person, actually moving under its own power too.

I think i'm just getting too old. It does get over 30 MPG on the highway though... We'll see, i have the V6Z24 bash July 10-12th to attend. You guys are welcome to come to that if you are near Davenport, IA.

w-body is having a meet in dayton, oh like june 13th or something as well. may have to do that as well. finally i'm cool enough to go to meets...
I'm aware of their meet. I was planning on going, but at the moment is doesn't look very organized. They don't even have everyone staying in the same hotel. I won't know for sure if I'm going to that meet until the last minute probably.. If I'm busy planning this as I could very well be, I probably won't go at all.

We always did august/september for the weather. Anyone have some nitro RC cars we can play with:P That was pretty sweet watching Chris jump his rc truck and race it around. Oh, and there was the whole "watch Ben tune" thing going on too. Not this year! Yeah right...

I'm going to be cautiously optimistic and say we've got good enthusiasm to move forward on this. I'll make a sticky post and start making the calls next week. Let's keep this post going for meet related business only, please. This year, it may just work!

Well then it appears IF it's Bowling Green, and IF the Corvette plant is to be included it falls to July 24th-26th.

And the track looks like a normal Bracket Race event on Sunday and a Test and Tune thing on Saturday evening.

And my race schedule is open that weekend!! FWIW

Maybe do some research first if it is looking like Bowling Green.

Do they even build Corvettes in July?

Is the track having some huge event that would severely limit access to more than a run or two?

Is Bowling Green itself hosting some huge conference that might limit Hotel access for those us us that DON'T camp?

I have lots of time if someone wants me to make some inquiries, but that is certainly not my call.

OldSkoolGP: care to start a post that lists all of the members planning on attending, assuming this idea gets off the ground?

barring any kind of financial disruption/zombie apocolypse, i should be able to make it. and proposed date?

can you say "premature engine wear"?

back on topic: this looks very promising. its going to be hot as shit in kentucky, but i can agree with asylumnmotorsports, florida would be much worse.

i've been thinking about this too! me and my dad, and his brother and son were planning on going to the vette plant anyway. dad and uncle richard both have vettes. those 2 probly wouldnt care to come to a 60degree meet, but me and andy would. the only question for me is getting off work. and that shouldnt even be a problem thanks to seniority
i wonder how many people would actually show up tho
