Pontiac Nationals August 10 - 12

Calling all Pontiac 60degree owners! Mark your calendars for this great event. Check out www.pontiacnationals.com for details. This is the largest all Pontiac race and show in the world, and the event has been going on for over 15 years. The cost of this event ($65 race entry fee gets you a Fri Test-N-Tune, Sat money race, AND seperate Sun. money race, plus dinner on Saturday) has not changed since I started going in 1996, and you get alot for your money. They have a seperate FWD racing class that has too many SC3800 Grand Prixs, so we need some other 60degrees there this year. Last year there were nearly 10,000 spectators, and nearly 1000 race cars, plus show cars. Oldskoolgp and I will be there (we are driving 450 miles EACH WAY to be there!), and we hope to see others. The event is at Norwalk, OH. If you go once, I know that you'll get hooked like I have. If I could only go to one event per year, this would be it. Hope to see many of you there!

Wow, are oldskoolgp and I the only Pontiac folks in this community who are within 500 miles of Norwalk? I can't believe that noone else has shown any interest in this event. The price is right, and there are lots of activities and cars. If you like to race in front of big crowds, this is the way to do it!

Hey torq455, I can understand how the milage would be a deterent. They also wouldn't allow you to compete. Only Pontiac or GMC vehicles (or vehicles powered by a Pontiac engine), are eligible. Sorry!
