  • For Sale: 1994 Olds Cutlass SL - 3.4 DOHC - Needs Engine

Well, here is the story...took the car to have the oil changed a week ago (BIG MISTAKE, I always changed the oil in the car myself). The technician installed the wrong oil filter and it came off the engine while driving in the freeway.
By the time I shut down the engine, it was too late and the engine seized.

I am in the process of a settlement with the shop insurance company and they plan to total the car. I have the opportunity to buy the car, so if there if any interest of any member, they can buy the car. I do not have the time to fix the car.

The car is a 1994 Olds Cutlass SL, 3.4 DOHC, Auto, A/C, PW, Gray Leather Interior, AM/FM/ Cass, Alloys, New Tires, New Front Shocks, New Belt, New Alternator, New plugs. Black Exterior, excellent condition...this was my baby, fully loaded. Actual Miles 89K

I WILL NOT PART THIS CAR...I do not have the time, or space to do so...

The car is located in the Seattle, Washington area.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested. I will have a price for the car tomorrow and will post the price.

Questions is, why won't they replace the engine that they damaged? In your case, I would take the insurance money, and rebuild the engine. But that's just me.

This post is over a year old... I'm sure the car is gone by now.
