It does sound cool. I rented a movie from the video store called Mischief 3000. It was a taping of things that they did in y2k in the Gumball 3000. It was pretty bad assed, and I ended up taping it. I kept thinking while watching it "Man, that would be a ton of fun!" So how do we find out how to sign up?

EDIT: I did a search on Google and came up empty handed

        Summertime Road Rally

I'm going to be placing it online in a few weeks.
Just for infor purposes or it might just be a teaser poster.
However, I plan to release it offically (maybe) at HIN LA.
But it may be sooner...possibly in mid Feb.
        Im still working on cost.
Heres a run down of what to expect:

        Entry Fee Includes...Road Tolls
        Possibly Motorola Talk abouts (communications)
        Fuel Discount (varies)
        Discounted Hotel Stays
Entry into NCCA Event(Depending on Execution Date) or
Entry into Car Show/Show N' Shine.
Neon Antenne or Accessory (Depending on Neon Sponsor)
        T-shirt and or Hat
        Decals
        Club Entry Discounts
Food Discount (at Alpha and Omega Checkpoints) possibly Free
Chances to win prizes along route (free gas...neons...ect)
        and more Added Extras.

Fee will be around $150 and not to exceed $200.
It all depends on how many tuner based sponsors we get and what the agenda holds. Depending on the Agenda, the entry fee be well worth it.
Because of the stuff, exposure, and possiblity of sponsorships. Major Vendors will be on this event. Great way to show off the ride and get yours exposed.Plus early registration will hold discounted entry.
Group entries are discounted as well.

More as it becomes available and solid.

Site and solid info on site in a few days(I hope) if not then by Mid Feb.

It sounds like a blast, but I know the guys in this movie got messed with by the cops alot. The Ferrari F50 that was in it (this was before the Enzo) got tagged doing 187, and in one part, they have the video camera pointing on the speedo while he is doing 203mph. Another good fueling station to go to is the Flying J's. They are all nice truck stops, pleanty of parking lot area (duh, it's a truck stop), and you can get a frequent fueler card for free, which can get you discounts on fuel, points for getting things in the "flying J store", and you don't have to run in and pre pay at the ones that require it because your address and info is on your card, so it saves you some time.
